Volt bij de Stadmakersborrel

Op 11 februari was Volt Den Haag bij de Stadmakersborrel van Placemaking Europe in Amare. Dit evenement bracht stadmakers, beleidsmakers en professionals uit 12 Europese steden samen om ideeĂ«n en ervaringen over âplacemakingâ (plaatsmaken) te delen. De avond bood inspirerende presentaties, zoals die van gemeente Den Haag over placemaking en de Omgevingsvisie en Staedion over de rol van woningcorporaties in placemaking.
Volt Den Haag ziet placemaking als een goed instrument voor duurzame stedelijke ontwikkeling en inclusieve gemeenschappen. Door aanwezig te zijn konden we niet alleen kennismaken met internationale experts, maar ook de âbest practicesâ zien, die we kunnen vertalen naar de Haagse situatie.

On February 11, Volt The Hague attended the Stadmakersborrel of Placemaking Europe at Amare. This event brought together city makers, policymakers, and professionals from 12 European cities to exchange ideas and experiences on placemaking. The evening featured inspiring presentations, such as those by the Municipality of The Hague on placemaking and the Environmental Vision, and by Staedion on the role of housing corporations in placemaking.
Volt The Hague sees placemaking as a valuable tool for sustainable urban development and inclusive communities. By attending, we not only had the opportunity to connect with international experts but also to observe best practices that we can translate into the context of The Hague.
