You will proactively seek common challenges and bring teams together to share solutions. Your work is essential for building a European network around Groningen. As an Advisor External Affairs, you focus on:
Initiating first contact with European Volt teams;
Identifying shared challenges and opportunities for collaboration;
Transferring these contacts to relevant Volt Groningen teams;
Strengthening Volt Groningen’s European network.

Important:
This is a volunteer position with 2-5 hours per week and a flexible schedule. For all our positions we ask that you endorse Volt's principles and the code of conduct.

What will this new team be working on?
You will build and maintain relationships with other Volt departments in Europe based on current themes and with chapters that have similar challenges. You will work with enthusiastic members from all over Europe.
You will ensure we gather expertise in the field of European politics and further disseminate this within the province, by organizing meetings and excursions and inviting speakers for our members of Volt Groningen. This will be done in close collaboration with the policy and events teams. You grow in your skills and knowledge of European politics.
You provide insights into relevant developments at European level and use best practices from elsewhere to find solutions for the province of Groningen for shared challenges.

This is an unpaid position and voluntary position. Volunteers are asked to commit 2-5 hours per week and join the new Europe team along with other passionate volunteers!
