Volt Hilversum and Wijdemeren invite you to a pub quiz evening at The Holy Pint, made for Hilversum's international community. Expect trivia, good company, and a first introduction to how local elections actually work here — including who's eligible to vote and what's at stake for the municipality you now call home.
The programme
Pub quiz, five rounds. Teams compete across general knowledge, local Hilversum and Dutch trivia, and a lighter wildcard round. No specialist knowledge required — just a team and competitive streak.

A short, non-partisan briefing on how Dutch municipal elections work: who's eligible, what the council actually decides, and how to register — framed as one of the quiz rounds itself.
Meet Volt Hilversum
A Volt Hilversum representative introduces the party's vision for the municipality and takes questions, followed by open Q&A.
Time to connect
A longer break built into the evening for teams to mingle, meet other international residents, and talk to the Volt team informally.
