I am fully committed to working towards a progressive, social and international Leiden. As a volunteer at Incluzio, I see first-hand how complicated rules and inaccessible institutions can hold people back. In the city council, I want to work towards a government that is accessible and brings out the best in people. At the same time, there are great opportunities for our city: from the growth of the Bio Science Park to attracting knowledge workers from all over the world. Leiden must dare to lead – with a vision of living, working and sustainability that is both future-oriented and inclusive. Volt offers the ideals and European perspective that Leiden deserves. That is why I am standing as a candidate for the council.
