Vacancy Fundraising Team: Co-Lead Fundraising (m/x) (Volunteer)

The fundraising team of Volt Amsterdam plays an important role in enabling all our activities. Without financial resources, we simply cannot run campaigns, organize events, or make an impact. The team is dedicated to raising funds through creative initiatives both within and outside Volt.

For this team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Volter who, together with another co-lead, wants to lead the development and implementation of our fundraising strategy. You certainly won't be alone: you'll work together with a small, dedicated team and in close collaboration with other teams such as Communications, Events, and Community. Additionally, as co-lead, you'll be part of the Volt Amsterdam Leads team, together with the board and other team leads. Finally, collaboration with the Campaign team is of great importance. Together with the fundraising team, you will ensure that we run a fantastic campaign for the 2026 municipal council elections.

What you'll do

  • Together with your co-lead, you'll develop a strategic plan for fundraising within Volt Amsterdam;

  • You'll initiate and coordinate fundraising activities, from calling campaigns to donor meetings;

  • You'll help build relationships with donors, members, and external partners;

  • You'll work closely with the treasurer, the Communications team for promoting activities, the Campaign team for municipal election funds, and with the Events team for fundraising events;

  • You'll participate in the monthly team lead meeting with the board to coordinate activities.

Experience with fundraising, marketing, or sales is a plus, but certainly not a requirement.
Estimated time commitment per week: 2 - 8 hours, depending on ongoing projects and your own dedication.
