Installation of Volt Amsterdam in the city council: stronger than ever!
Today, the municipal council for 2026-2030 was installed, and Volt Amsterdam is continuing stronger than ever with 5.1% of the vote.
With two seats, represented by Juliet Broersen and Pim van Burk, and, for the first time, representation in four district councils, we are ready to build the future of Amsterdam.
With Juliet, a familiar and strong voice remains in the council. And with Pim, new energy joins: fresh, driven, and full of ideas. We are incredibly happy about that!
And thereβs more: Volt is now also represented in the city district councils. In every district where we ran, we secured a seat: in Centrum with Anna Klapwijk, in Oost with Mark Croes, in West with Max Fleer, and in Zuid with Thijs Uildriks.
In the coming years, we will work with full energy towards a city where you can once again afford to live, where you feel safe, and where more Amsterdammers feel connected to their neighbourhood and their city, especially for the next generation.
