Ian is an entrepreneur at heart. Optimistic and energetic. By the time he was 18, he already had his own business in DJ training and organising events. After studying Business Administration, Pedagogical Didactic Certificate and Political Science, Ian started as a political group coordinator at Volt Amsterdam.
Besides being a group coordinator, Ian is also a group representative for Volt Amsterdam. As a group representative, Ian wants to connect Amsterdammers with their environment and politics. He has a strong sense of justice and wants to contribute to a fair, equal, inclusive and engaged Amsterdam society.
Ian was number 8 on the candidate list for the last municipal elections. Ian is also active for Volt Europe and co-authored the election manifesto for Amsterdam.
